Some high school students at Covenant Life School in Gaithersburg, Md. who came to campus for an internship sat at a table near the screens on the right side of the ballroom.
Three of them at the table support Romney.
Elliot Lowe, a sophomore at Covenant Life, said that he supports Romney’s economic policies, but said he liked the open atmosphere at Stamp’s election party.
Covenant Life senior Emily Patton said that she and her fellow students are often assumed to support Romney just because they are Christian and attend a Christian school. She said that she’s thought out many of the issues to come to her decision for Romney.
“I feel like when the country was first started, they were so focused on small government,” she said. “Obama has got us into more debt than ever. I feel like there kind of needs to be a new way of rebuilding.”
Lowe said that he thinks Obama will win the election.
