The administration needs to make it easier for kids to pay for college, Gov. Romney said. He won the coin toss and spoke first, answering a question from a 20-year-old college student about job certainty for college graduates.
“When you come out in 2014, I presume I’m going to be president,” Romney said.
He said his plan would boost the middle class and increase jobs.
“I want you to be able to get a job,” Romney said. “I know what it takes to get the economy going.”
President Obama rebutted with a plan to open up more jobs, changed tax codes for incentives to companies and increased student loans.
